The group visit several different locations over the year. These may be small events where the group do not erect their camp and just meet visitors talking directly about the Regiment and their personal kit, or they may be a full camp where the group erect their tents and field kitchen, living as closely as possible as the soldiers of the period did, demonstrating camp life to the visitors. All events are arranged to suit the requirements of the organisers.

New dates are constantly being added. Please contact us for any information regarding an event in our diary or if you would like us to attend your event.

Please note we do request a fee to cover our expenses however this may be waived if the event is in aid of charity.

Pelsall Victorian Christmas Fair

Walkabout at this gorgeous Christmas Fair. An ideal opportunity to get those unusual Christmas Presents.

Pelsall Victorian Christmas market

Pelsall will be holding another traditional Victorian market on Saturday, 5 December 2009.  The Victorian theme will be evident in many Victorian games, traditional Victorian period costumes, carol singing and much more. The crafts on display and for sale will be wide and varied.  This will be a fun day for the whole family with traditional family fun and values.

The Pelsall Victorian Christmas celebrations will include traditional fair rides and a Victorian fire engine in Pelsall Village Centre. There will also be a mini train, morris dancers, pig roast and victorian stilt walkers.

Says Chris Shaw, owner of The Lily Pot in Pelsall "This is a wonderful community event.  We're really looking forward to another Victorian Christmas market in Pelsall because the atmosphere, Victorian costumes and activities make the day such great fun for everybody in the village."
